Origins (1982)
The Mohicans Motorcycle Club was founded in 1982 in Pretoria by a group of friends who shared a passion for motorcycles, camaraderie, and the open road. The founding members built the foundations of what would become one of South Africa's most respected motorcycle clubs.
By 1987, the club had grown to 24 members, strengthening its brotherhood and establishing its place in the South African biking community.
Growth and Expansion
In 1987, the Mohicans MC expanded with the establishment of the Marble Hall Chapter, marking the start of its wider presence in South Africa. Over the following decades, new chapters were formed in Middelburg, Weskus, and Namaqua.
Each new chapter carried forward the traditions, values, and spirit of the original Pretoria founding members while adding its own local identity to the Mohicans brotherhood.
